Travel Program

Day 1   Saturday: Opatija - Split - Makarska (L)
At 1:00 PM, departure from Split harbor to Makarska (latecomers can join there). Lunch is served during the cruise along the Dalmatian coast. Afternoon stop for swimming in one of the hidden coves along the route. For adrenaline lovers, there is an optional zipline ride over the Cetina River canyon. Enjoy the evening in Makarska. Take a walk along the promenade with wide walkways, a path leading to the lighthouse, and several cool bars. On the main square, there is an impressive church and other monuments and sights. Overnight in Makarska harbor.

Day 2   Sunday: Makarska - Mljet (B, L)
In the early morning, departure to Mljet, with a stop for swimming on the Pelješac Peninsula. Part of the island of Mljet is a national park (entrance fee paid on site, 25.00 EUR). In the afternoon, plan to visit the saltwater lakes, the peaceful, small island of St. Mary in the middle of the large lake, the church, and the monastery. Take a walk or rent a bike to explore these beautiful lakes. Overnight in the harbor of Polača or Pomena.

Day 3   Monday: Mljet - Dubrovnik (B, L)
After breakfast, departure to Dubrovnik, the most famous city in Croatia and, for many, the highlight of this cruise. Irish writer George Bernard Shaw called Dubrovnik “paradise on earth”. The journey offers an incredible view of the surroundings, so all that is left is to enjoy and admire the beautiful coast. Upon arrival, explore on your own or join a guided city tour (included in the Premium and Premium Superior package), followed by an optional cable car ride to Mount Srđ with spectacular views of the old town. Don’t miss Stradun – the street and square in the Old Town, and take a walk along at least part of the 1,940 m long city walls that protected Dubrovnik from earthquakes and attacks! Overnight in the harbor of this magical town.

Day 4   Tuesday: Dubrovnik - Šipan/Trstenik (B, L, CD)
In the late morning, departure to the island of Šipan or the small town of Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula. Beautiful places for afternoon swimming and free time with the option to visit a local winery. In the evening, enjoy a special captain's dinner on the boat (included in the Premium Superior and Premium package). Overnight in the harbor.

Day 5   Wednesday: Šipan/Trstenik - Korčula (B, L)
After breakfast, departure to the island of Korčula, one of the most famous Dubrovnik islands. It is the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Lunch on the boat in a cove near the town of Korčula. The town’s walls and bastions date back to the 13th century, and there are also some beautiful churches and museums. Join an optional city tour of Korčula (included in the Premium Superior package) or an optional wine and local delicacies tasting at a local winery before you dine on your own at one of the many restaurants or taverns by the sea. Overnight in Korčula harbor.

Day 6   Thursday: Korčula - Hvar (B, L)
Early departure to the Pakleni Islands near Hvar (the longest island in the Adriatic) for lunch and a swimming stop. Later, there is an optional afternoon tour of Hvar (included in the Premium Superior package), which resembles a movie set. The Renaissance cathedral has its original tower and the oldest social theater in Europe, founded in 1612. Hvar is known as the jet-set island, offering plenty of entertainment, great restaurants, bars, and cafes serving drinks late into the night. Don’t forget to buy island lavender from the local stands. Overnight in Hvar.

Day 7   Friday: Hvar - Brač (Bol) - Split (B, L)
The next stop is the island of Brač. The most famous (and most photographed) beach in Dalmatia is Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) near Bol – known for its constantly changing shape – a pebble spit that moves with the wind. A great place to stop for swimming. Bol is a typical fishing village that has retained its atmosphere, although it has become a popular tourist destination. After lunch, on the way to Split, you can join an optional rafting excursion on the Cetina River. The approach to the Split Riviera is beautiful and offers the best view from the boat. Upon arrival, join an optional guided tour of Split, the monumental city that, along with the famous Roman Diocletian's Palace, is under UNESCO protection. Split is full of bistros, bars, and restaurants serving local specialties.

Day 8   Saturday: Split (B)
Early breakfast before saying goodbye to new friends and crew, and check-out from the boat.
